Episode 1 - I am not touching that machete dear -
Four Tribes of 5 came into cook islands wanting to play a game. There was
Aitutaki, the Hispanic tribe,
Rarotonga the Caucasion Tribe,
Puka Puka the Asian American tribe, and
Manihiki, the African American tribe.
The Cast -Adam, The Alpha male of the Raro tribe.
Becky, The Under the radar strategist of the Puka tribe.
Billy, The Soft Spoken member of the Aitutaki tribe.
Brad, The Strong but smart Puka tribe member.
Candice, The Loyal Raro tribe member.
Cecilia, The Sneaky but friendly Aitutaki tribe member.
Cao Boi, The Active and Outspoken Puka member.
Cristina, The Self proclaimed bitch of the Aitutaki tribe.
JP, The Fighter of the Aitutaki tribe.
Jenny, The "Crazy" and out there member of the Puka tribe.
Jessica, The Friendly member of the Raro tribe.
Jonathan, The Strategist of Rarotonga.
Nate, The Male flirt of the Manihiki tribe.
Parvati, The Outspoken Flirt of the Rarotonga tribe.
Ozzy, The Easliy-Angered Strategist of the Aitutaki tribe.
Rebecca, The Fighter of Manihiki.
Sekou, The Quiet member of Manihiki.
Stephanie, The member of Manihiki who was a little too UTR.
Sundra, The Excited Manihiki Member.
Yul, The Charismatic Puka member.
Things started off with the tribes getting to know each other. They also learned that they had to choose a tribe leaderOn Rarotonga Jessica Drew some pictures for her fellow tribe mates.
Adam: "oh my god!!!
thx alot flicka..that's so nice of you"
Candice: "that's totally fricken AWESOME!!"
Then they chose their leader, Adam.
Adam Confesses: "I hate being a leader urrgh!!"
Meanwhile on Manihiki things are quiet.
They unanimously chose Nate as their leader.
Then on Puka Puka Becky can't commit to being a leader but Yul Nominates Brad to take the leadership Role but Cao boi asks for the job and then gets it.
At the Beggining of a game Becky then has a bold statement.
Becky: "By the way, I assume we're all sticking together throughout the game no matter what?"
Yul: "Ill stick with us, matter what"
Brad: "I'd be down with sticking. Go puka!"
Brad Confess's: "Becky randomly was like "so I assume we're all sticking together for the rest of the game no matter what?" Um.... relax, girl. We haven't even spoken before. I'm not giving you my word that easily.
Well - of course I agreed. But I feel no commitment to this group just yet. Tribal lines are great, but if you're untrustworthy, I don't care where you came from, I'm going to want you gone.
Yul has also tried to push me into a leadership role already, which I'm not thrilled about. Of course I'll step up because it seems like we need one, but I'd much rather give other people the chance to step up first."
Then Aitutaki, who gets to be good friends for the most part chooses Cristina.
At the challengeThe tribes were racing through the sea to grab flags, the 3 tribes with the most would win immuntiy.
Rarotonga gets off to an early lead, lapping the other tribes in flag count.
Then Puka Puka and Aitutaki get starting trying hard to catch up but Raro has showed no sign of slowing down.
Manihiki then slowly gest started.
Rarotonga stays up late pushing through this challenge very fari in the lead.
Puka Puka has some what caught up, not too far behind and in second place.
Behind them a little bit is Aitutaki with as mich oomph as they can muster.
Then from behind Manihiki gets a flag! But its too late as the challenge is now over.
Rarotonga, Puka Puka, and Aitutonga won the challenge, sending Manihiki to tribal council.
Then back at camp Raro, the tribe are doing chores and Parvati is asked to clean the fish with the machete. Her reply : "I'm not touching that machete Dear"
Puka and Aitu were very happy about their wins and celebrated that they were still safe, they both talked about Raro being a huge threat.
At Tribal CouncilSekou Confess's that while his tribe lossed, it had potential.
Stephannie was glad that although she was that active, Sundra was even less active.
The Tribe Mutually agreed the Sundra was their weakest link, although she started strong and she was voted out 5-0.
